C3 Data turns a confusing and complex process into a simple 5-minute task. AMS2750 requires 26 items to be checked and documented for each Temperature Uniformity Survey. C3 Data is the only software tool that ensures that each and every requirement is met and properly documented.
C3 Data’s TUS Module starts with Scheduling. It displays all the information needed to determine when and at what temperatures a TUS is to be performed. This allows the QA or designate to schedule the next TUS properly.

Last Initial TUS (date)
Last Minimum temperature TUS (date)
Last Maximum temperature TUS (date)
Number of consecutive successful Periodic TUSs
Hottest and Coldest TC locations (for Instrumentation Types A & C) and automatic determination if relocation is required.
Verify that the minimum number of sensor locations is met (per volumetric or planar method).
Verify that all test TCs have been calibrated, approved by quality, and were in-tolerance at all test temperatures.
Verify that the Data logger was calibrated, approved by quality, and found in-tolerance at all test temperatures for all applicable TC types.
Verify that the minimum stabilization period is met.
Verify that the maximum allowable time between the first and last test TCs coming into tolerance is not exceeded.
Digital Thermocouple Integration: C3 Data's growing list of Thermocouple Integration Partners enables both heat treaters and pyrometry labs to digitally access their chosen thermocouple suppliers' calibration database. In seconds, a digital copy of all thermocouple calibration data and a PDF of the certificate are instantly entered into the heat treater or pyrometry lab's C3 Data account.
17025 Accredited Lab Integration: A growing list of C3-integrated Calibration Laboratories use the C3 TUS Module to perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys for their customers. If you’re a heat treater outsourcing your TUSs to one of these accredited pyrometry labs, your TUS results can automatically flow directly into your C3 Data account, where all your compliance documentation resides, regardless of who does the work (heat treater, pyrometry lab, or a mix of both).
This unmatched collaboration between accredited pyrometry labs and heat treaters can optionally extend to enable the lab to use C3’s SAT Module and/or CAL Module to perform tests on behalf of the heat treater. These reports can flow seamlessly and instantly from the pyrometry lab to the heat treater within the C3 Data system. All your compliance documentation resides in one place, regardless of who does the work (heat treater, pyrometry lab, or both).
Compliance Dashboard: Your C3 Dashboard monitors all pyrometry-related activities and provides a real-time visual compliance status of all furnaces in your plant. At a glance, Quality Managers and Furnace Technicians know what pyrometry activities are required and when. Furnace Operators always know in real time which furnaces are compliant, and which are not.
